| [#11] 喇叭喇叭 & 皇帝位喇叭之間距離 The key questions are probably 1) whether the speakers and listening position are at optimal positions of the room (not peaks and dips of bass) 2) whether the distance between speakers and between speakers and listening position produce a clear, clean and solid center image (not to be confused of positions which produce center image with resonances, which is 'fat' but unclean, and unclear) 3) your preference of the width of soundstage, sometimes too wide a soundstage makes the sound a bit thin; too less a soundstage makes sound congested 4) toe-in - the balance between soundstage width and clear positions of instrument image reproduced - they seem to be trade-off I think the above are more important and whether it's its 全等三角形 is less the issue ... please correct if I am wrong ... |

| [#12] 喇叭喇叭 & 皇帝位喇叭之間距離 If the width of listening area is only 11-13ft. but the distance between two speaker is 9ft., you may not have solid image. You may reduce the distance between two speakers to see if there is any difference in the focus of image. For details of positioning speaker, please refer to the link "Will U toe-in differently for different CDs/music?". NAR gave very good guidelines for positioning the speaker. Follow his advice, you will find out if your existing speaker positioning is good or not. |

| [#16] 喇叭喇叭 & 皇帝位喇叭之間距離 ason hing, 六呎半 is quite short but you have a long side - I have a friend with a room with this shape. We bought a very small speaker (full range) to avoid occupying space. In this case, we can place the speaker further apart and have a bit longer distance between the side walls. BUT even in this case, you should think about putting things in front of the speakers to avoid first reflections (or if you have a door on one side of the wall, open it with a small angle will already help! But you still need to treat the other side-wall). The exact placement is to be influenced by decoration which you can only try by trial and error. What speakers are you using though?? :) |
