Your amp is 90Wx2 rated. It may require a clearance of 4 - 6 inches of space, from the top, and from the back, to let the heat out to be safe.

PS: one thing that you may need to do, if you have no other choice, is to tape a large aluminum foil on the top side of the cabinet space so that it can help distribute the heat from the amp. But this is not a good way.

Does your cabinet is opened at the back, or it is closed ?

If it is closed, then, even an aluminum foil on the top of the cabinet space is not sufficient if you amp has only 2 inch clearance for heat ventilation. I am not familiar with your amp - let's say, if your amp generates 40-60W of waste heat inside, it is a safety hazzard, and it also hurts your amp as it puts a lot of hot stress so that your amp would break down very soon.

Buy a tester from 鴨記昌記. If the air temperature at the exhaust hole of the amplifier is ＞50⁰C
The amp's power transistors are going to die.
(the body temperature of the power transistors like 90⁰C !)

terrysonic28 兄,如果機殼度得50⁰C(power管80-90⁰C),如果amp輸出級得一對power管,100W機 (+/-50V供電),唱唔到兩首或三首1812或Drum Record,我估應該出煙兼跳喇叭保護了。
Accuphase P500 6對power管,total 900W, 也過不了這溫度,開左幾下100W大砲,燒到一地都係。

點解Accuphase P500 6 對 power 管共 900W power 管裝備起90'C (散熱器50'C) 頂唔順多下100W 1812開砲輸出負荷呢？原因都係"There is no free lunch in the world"
900W都用得盡?
事實係每對2SA1302/2SC3281所標出的150W功率承受(功率散溢)係起25'C以下的能力,溫度一高過25'C,功率承受隨上升溫度作線性下降(見圖),到左90'C,6對合力的總功率承受跌至得432W。每對2SA1302/2SC3281得番72W功率承受額,在P500 170VDC (+/-85VDC) 的供電下,祇能抵受0.42A。但8Ω喇叭在100W時會扯3.54A。每對power管分擔0.6A。那便超出了每對管那時所能承受的50%,一些馬上會燒毀的,餘下的每對管再去分擔那3.54A負荷,務必盡消了。hopeless!
可以用下圖按比例和溫度去堆算一下你的power amp 是否危險。一般而言,散熱器50'C (power管90'C),power管群總工功率跌剩一半。
