80年代自TAS介紹3/5a給HiFi友.英國tottenham court road電氣街已有Goodman 3/5a芳踪.
如果你仍然保留80年代HiFi for pleasure,Popular Hi Fi英國雜誌尾頁黑白廣告你可以看到
Goodman 3/5a產品.Falcon80年代中期加入3/5a市場大戰,開始時間Falcom生產符合BBC規格3/5a,卻因BBC收緊特許生產商數量然後不允許Falcon繼續生產.因此當時只有較少量Falcon 3/5a流出市場.
除此之外正室Roger 3/5a因為80年代修改低音單元及分音器.因此當時英國不少HiFi友都在尋找Falcon.

Looking at the history of Falcon Acoustics and I found that they were once operated in Acle, Norfolk and I had not even a clue!!!

I had passed this place thousand times!! Missed opportunity !!!

After reading discussions from the net some asked the question why most people place their LS3/5a with only 24" Speaker stands?

They were mostly placed on top corners of the wall and facing down to the DJ. Or, they were put on top of the DJ console which could be as high as 30-35".

I have some solid oaks panels(used for kitchen worktop) cut to 30" and my trustworthy stainless steel blocks are used as spike feet.

I don't know what I could achieve but no harm trying.

I tilt the end of the Falcon slightly upward to create the placement like in a studio.

LS3/5a was designed for Near Field Monitoring where the ears of the listener would only be 3-4 feets from the speakers with the speaker mounted on wall or ceiling corner. No one using LS3/5a for hifi will do that and the best result would be on a stand in the room far from the back wall.

在展覽這樣環境表現算ok，應該可以更上一層，以現今英國造來說兩萬合理，造工不錯，可惜看見Logo有高低，顯得有些不夠嚴謹。
