#5 These requirement is not suitable for Linn Sondek LP12, the LP12 will sound dull and boring if put on a heavy, robust and rigid stand......... :P

I second the motion. I used to place the LP12 with wall mounted table and small ebony cubes under the deck. I even use coffee table as well!!

With Lenco GL75 which loves heavy and mass support I use heavy materials(slate, hardwood and metal stablisers) to make plinths and place on heavy table.

LIke most suggest you need to know your deck well for better sound tuning. No single rule applies to all.

While I had used different Thorens(TD150, TD160,TD125 and TD 126) I never use the newer TD321 which used the Blade Suspension, instead of Spring Suspension as those I used.

I would treat the sping models more or less the same as LP12 since they all share the same principle from Acoustic Reserach AR Turntable.

Now with the blade uspension I couldn't be able to comment on it. I guess the best option is to try out the different setups, soft, hard or heavy, in order to achieve your desired sound signature.

I am very sorry for not being able to help out.
