| [#6] can anyone can share about Audio Note gear? A full AN system produces the kind of music like no others. People who mix and match with AN system should be shot. As a minimum, one should match AN amplification with its own brand of speakers. If you are mating eg M6 with a solid state power amplifier or partnering AN amplifers with other brand of speakers, then you're not hearing a proper AN house sound, but you would still get a very refined sound though. Yes, I agree AN equipment are very expensive, especially those products which are above Level 3. But you can still get a very good quality sound from their entry level products. And I can tell you that this kind of quality is better than a lot of those out there. Here's my current system:  |

"... organic(don't know what it means)...., " Good word (organic) to describe .... let me try, for vocal, voice just like coming out from flesh & blood (total non mechanical); for instrument & soundstage, a continuum of 3D from back to frint and left to right i.e. not only layers of music but everything in-between layers. Audio Note systems pursue the kind of clarity we immediately recognize as concert hall. clarity as opposed to studio clarity. They have all of the clarity we crave but none of the analytic quality we fear. |

There is substantial difference between STUDIO & CONCERT HALL CLARITY, after many years of listening, I think, "pin-point" imaging from HIFI gears are MOSTLY NOT natural as ALL instrument RADIATES sound waves on 360 degree manner with 2nd, 3rd, ... harmonic waveforms and also reflections from surrounding walls, however, if this harmonics info is over-produced, people tend to mis-intrepreted it as "一 舊 舊, 太"傑"" or too slow. HIFI gears that are weak at reproducing "harmonics info" tends to sound "pin-point", but in real concert hall you don't get absolute "pin-point". Sound & relection & its harmonics from instruments in radiating manner with REAL transparency creates a CONTINUUM of music sound, which I describe it as " ORGANIC " (I'm not sure its the right term! but it just a word and I like the word organic !!!). |
