But album sales drop by 14% (only 428 million, while digital track sales revenue was 1.07 billion, up 27%. "如果computer 可勝過大廠, 以上牌子可以close down. 唔好咁天真la" cwcskk 以上牌子actually can have profitable business if they can make high resolution online music sounds great. And in fact it is so easy to beat CD with high resolution records. You don't have to worry about them. They will see replacing audiophile grade CD player with audiophile grade media player actually is a good business opportunity instead of threat. |

That is what Sony did when they have portable media player "ATRAC" trying to protect copy rights. People probably forgot what it is. At the end, Apple ipod get the market. It would be stupid if they do not go for a open and ready to go standard without copyrights protection. In fact, all media server available today have little to do with copyrights protection. |

| [#40] CD機行將就木? Why the price range so large? Product can be priced base on how much customer can afford to pay. There are mobile phone selling at HK$10,000. Is this phone much different from a 2,000 phone? Probably not. Some product make better case and sell it at double price. That is not uncommon. |
