the audition was not in hk and there is no delear in hk, listened to linn ds first with ibm and then swapped to hiface with d07 and same ibm pc no doubt hiface the winner and i plan to get bnc version

I'm so pleased to hear your testing result, since I've been looking at it for a moment. But, I've not made any order for it till now. Could you tell me what are the difference between BNC and S/PDIF vesion? If my DAC only has S/PDIF input, do I still need to order a BNC version? Thanks!

the following review using rca input dac for comparison. i think you can benefit from bnc version andthe one iauditioned is rca version

I am using the BNC version with very good results.

I use the BNC version since my DAC supports BNC. if you have RCA only on your DAC I guess you should just order RCA and save $30 USD

from theory firewire to BNC should have advantage over Mtech2

I never had a chance for direct comparison. But the HiFace is sounding quite good. I had the Weiss DAC2 which sounds different than the Naim DAC, both are very good, with the Naim DAC sounding more resolving.
