Have you try to hear the actual finished product of 15" full range speaker with 迷宮式音箱?

Than you will realize the difference.

I don't agree with your statement that 再用迷宮會否過多低音, 同拖慢反應

迷宮式音箱 will enhance the whole speaker more powerful with clear bass, nothing to do with the speed.

Last time I use 15" Neodymium Speakers and found the bass is not smooth enough and too bright high frequency, this time I try 12" ALNICO because there will be more smooth bass and the high frequency will extend to 20kHz, the overall efficiency is 97dB, such that a small tube amplifier can drive easily.

I will invite you to come to hear whenever I finished this project.

Theoretically , having to travel a long and winding path before it comes out again and meet with the radiation from the front of the cone, the bass coming out from the horn WILL DEFINITELY lag behind, this is time alignment issue. It exists as a fact. No question about it.

But whether one can hear this issue will be another topic for fun discussion.

音箱設計用迷宮式結構，確實能把低頻表現到最好的極限。
全頻單元發聲的意念係好，但實際工作表現是有缺點的。顧得低時，顧唔到高；大音壓時，高低音會互相受干擾(亂)。
所以為了妥協，多數靚聲的全頻，其單元不會太大，6寸附近，用迷宮音箱谷出低音單元應有的低頻出來。
多路設計兼又有迷宮式音箱，應該會更完美。

I have made one bass reflex type cabinet with 10" Audio Nirvana ALNICO before and found it sound excellent.

This time try 12" with 迷宮式音箱 should be even better.

A lot of HiFi people have a image of old full range speaker 755
Actually the full range speaker design nowaday is totally difference
The large size speakers can output really full range and sound better
than the smaller one, except the largest 15" frequency stop at 15kHz
and I choice the second large 12" which frequency response up to 20kHz

Statement from the supplier:
The Audio Nirvana 'Super 12 ALNICO' has a frequency response from 37 hz to almost 20,000 hz. You can expect at least 97 db efficiency in any of our cabinets. It handles 30 watts continuous RMS (normal listening level will be about 1/10 watt). Impedance is 8 ohms. Voicecoil is 1.5 inches (38 mm). Magnet weight is 2.4 lbs. Total weight is 15 lbs. The cone is made of paper. The surround is accordion style and made of treated cloth. The phase plug is copper anodized, machined solid aluminum. The Alnico magnet is made of aluminum, nickel, and cobalt and is stronger than normal ferrite/ceramic magnets. Our alnico magnet models are the smoothest Audio Nirvana models and make the most bass.

Due to the sound path inside the cabinet, only the low frequency sound will be amplified and discharge at the lower opening, as a result, matching/self balancing the poor low frequency response of most driver, no matter the size of driver.

這個新造的喇叭準備好用全橡膠實木造
出現一個新問題。應該用甚麼油漆處理
經過多位老師指導
最好用硬木碏油hard wax wood oil
千萬唔好用清漆

花了一整天在淘宝找到都送唔到香港交貨
最後有位地板師傅介紹
香港灣仔告士打道有檔德國OSMO専科木蠟油

小弟都diy 左對 FOSTEX FE103-sol 50th anniversary version, 配左對BK103 箱係大陸定做，手工材料都一般，用左15mm MDF, 大陸MDF , 但出來既效果已經好過預期，人聲同中低頻都幾好( 好過usher 502 ) , 中高音就麻麻，可能本身D 架生都一般貨色純粹為樂趣。

有朋友係做喇叭R&D的，聽講呢d 迷宮箱係低頻180 度反相作一個coherent interference,而得到張低頻放大既作用，所以低頻速度一定有影響，但因為全頻喇叭無分音電路所以係低頻以外既頻響係快左 (相對有分音電路既喇叭 )所以全頻喇叭係有佢既吸引力，試過有一首歌裡面既樂器離箱走出來，能夠達到呢個效果已經心滿意足。
ps. 全套架生under $10k
