Series 接法令ohm數洏b,一般中檔 AV amp 未必有力推, 如過@本身巳經靈敏度不高的喇叭, 如Dyna, ATC 等書架仔....有機會部Amp hang機(現今大部份AV amp都有過荷監察), 但亦有可能燒單元,各位自己小心注意

if done in series there is a problem concerning phase such that in 1 speaker the + and - are reversed

with this setting there will be cancellation of waves

2 speakers in series will double the ohm

in parallel will half the ohm so if the speakers are 8ohm the amp will see the load as 4ohm. if your amp cannot supply enough current well ...

開頭好過癮, 聲音好似無邊無際, 但五分鐘唔夠, 發覺是沒有中心點, 沒有距離感, 好唔實在

呢個經驗唔係100%等同我用雙中置的感覺, 只係想講有近似之處, 你自己都可以試下, 理論上不用花錢(當然你至少有套機開聲再加件MP3 player如ipod)

你先在家中坐在皇帝位, 聽CD 或收音機, 同時間, 把該曲目Rip 作MP3, 又或Discman, 用耳筒聽, 再把Hifi與MP3漸調至相等音量, 這種聽感就像我所經驗的雙中置

Will a big centre speaker also produce a wide mono plane ? But then it may sit on the floor and the sound stage is low. 2 center speakers can be placed at the same level as the L and R 2 channels speakers. The sound stage or level will be correct, right ? Correct me if I am wrong.

When two center speakers placed in left and right hand side individually, they sound at the same time with the L and R channels which produce stereo sound. Will this help?

your center speaker too small? or
it is not centre speaker's design??
or u want a very wide vocal plane??

玩雙中置..
set 到前面由左至右或相反，都有清楚移動感。對音場而言，我覺得應無問題。如有時間幾好玩。
