I expect to make one ＞1,000W output 833/833 Direct Heated Triode Push Pull Power Amplifier. Hope to finish within two months! |

| [#7] ＞1kW 833/833 Triode Push Pull Power Amplifier Thank you for all interesting response, the base configuration will be initially started with: 1. the maximum B+ is about +3000Vd in the last pp-stage for two 833 tubes; 2. the maximum B+ for the driver stage using one 833 tube will be 10% less than the last power stage; 3. the output transformer size is 12inches; the winding has been specially made for +3000Vdc and we have tried before in the signle ended power amplifier, there is no such Tx supplier in the world, the Tx winding machine is designed and made by me and the winding this pair of 12inches output Tx is done by DIY007 Kit Sir; ask Kit Sir to quote if anyone want to try!!! 4. we have just made the interstage transformer and going to design & make input transformers. 5. the maximum output for all components are designed for 1,650W output per channel, and I hope to get 1,000W output per channel with very good sound quality. 6. hope to switch on this CRAZY amplifier within 2 weeks. | [#8] ＞1kW 833/833 Triode Push Pull Power Amplifier We have just completely made the output transformers, interstage transformers and input transformers, all stages of this 833/833 PP Triode amplifier will use Tx counpling, no capacitor will be installed though out the signal path. The next step is to start install all components on the chassis & cabinet. I also hope to hand made new Telfon Tube sockets for all 833 tubes, the market 833's sockets look not strong enough. |

| [#15] ＞1kW 833/833 Triode Push Pull Power Amplifier Preliminary design whole system full load output at 1,650Watts per channel,(The maximum output limit of one pair PUSH PULL 833a tubes), but the best sound qualtiy output power range need to be found out after testing. 3 nos. 833A Direct Heated Triode will be used per channel, One out of Three used as the driver stage, Two used as pair Push Pull output stage, all stages use transformer coupling, not even one capacitor will be used through out the sound signal path, both RCA & balance, high & low impedance input available, Trible Pi power filtration circuit have been applied with all HV Oil Paper Filled Capacitors. Each triode working bias can be adjustable individually, Output UV meter full load measure range from 0.1Watt to 1,000Watts adjustable. The voltage drop between power stage and driver stage is also adjustable, usually 10% drop in the driver stage is acceptable. I have put all my crazy idea in this amplifier, if any one of you have any further idea or query, please do not hesitate to let me know. However, there must be people including me who are discontented to see only its appearance. I wonder if it is possible for you to disclose a bit more about the technicalities, such as the structure of the transformers, major parts used, measures taken to deal with the ultra high voltage....and most importantly, the circuit. It is of course unreasonable to expect for full details of your works (unless you are kind enough to disclose them). For most people, brief explanation and block diagrams should suffice. |
