| [#14] 不同牌子的胆整流管比較文章 I sometimes suspected that the sound difference between different rectifier tubes is due mainly if not entirely to the voltage drop of each model. Sure if one plugs in a rectifier tube that changes the b+ of both the driver tube and output tube, the operating point shifts and so is distortion. In my 300B amp where a rectifier tube is also needed, there installed a VR that allows adjusting the b+ and hence bias of my 300B no matter what rectifier tubes are used be it GZ37, 5ar4, 5z3 or 274B. And to my ears they sound pretty much the same. |
