| [#8] Orpheus-Heritage yes ccn, the orpheus DAC is just amazing. I haven't heard of the heritage yet, but my humble Orpheus One DAC (with 24/192 anagram chip) is just damm good. Just as what you have described..... " it could fill up all the hole in your area & the details over we expect from CD format" And that's just the beginning. It is very very musical and not having the usual cold, thin and hollow sound from most upsampling DAC. It gives you a combination of detailed, warm blooded and natural swiss freshy sound. With numerous hi-end DAC tested and auditioned before, I would say the Orpheus One DAC is one of the best contemporary design DAC money can buy under $50k. You need to hear it to believe. I wonder how much better the heritage can be?  |

| [#10] Orpheus-Heritage Having listened to chord for a few times, my personal opinion is although the Chord DAC64 has all round capabilities, the orpheus one DAC is simply more natural and musical in presentation. So, if you value the fresh natural sound from swiss products like FM, goldmund, nagra or solution, you will understand why the orpheus is such an outstanding product :) |
