| [#14] 請教: 唱臂決擇, Infinity Black Widow vs sme series III s I too had used a slate plinth for a short while, though not the prettiest. It was cheap as it only costs me £2!! I found it when visiting a charity open garden and I asked the house owner what was he doing with the slab of slate. He said nothing at all! He told me I could have it for £2. I know there is a company selling bespoke slate but it could be expensive. Soundwise I have no preference to it perhaps due to the fact that it isn't very thick, certainly heavy though. There is one person and his name is Daiwok whom I believe is the expert with Lenco. He is one of the Lenconheaven administrators from Hong Kong and I think he should be able to share his expertise. I would recommend you should visit Lencoheaven if you haven't done so. There are bucket lots of information which are extremely helpful. I also made one solid plinth with oak. There are also talks about tweaking the springs to reduce the resonance. The idea of “motor island” has also been discussed but I don’t know how the result presents.
