USB CARD XE 的設計針對優化 USB-Audio 輸出，用戶只需將其插在配備 PCIe 插槽的 PC 個人電腦上，便能為任何一款 USB DAC 或 USB-DDC 大幅改善聲音的重播品質。

USB Card XE 採用了具備 ±0.005（±5 PPB）穩定性的 Emerald OCXO 時鐘，即使在不同的環境壓力因素（例如氣流、溫度擾動、振動、衝擊和電磁干擾（EMI））之下，亦能提供最穩定的時基。

電源方面放棄開關方式，採用了極低噪聲的線性電源，另外更設有業界最佳的 LT3045 線性穩壓器和濾波器，有效消除了 PC 的噪聲干擾。

輸出方面，利用新一代的低延遲和低噪聲的 ASM3142 晶片，主機控制器支援 USB 3.1，能提供清晰的 USB-Audio 數據流輸出。
