| [#21] 最近Tidal聽歌速度有問題? 唉呀！剛剛聽Belafonte at Carnegie Hall,又疾疾下，真激死。用緊HKBN 量download/upload speed有83.40/95.16Mbps。應該係正常速度。另外再做多兩樣野。一：將router 的DNS轉到Google public DNS即8.8.8.8同8.4.4.8。二：係router enable QoS, 比highest priority 比部N10做streaming 。返應好似好左。如果仲係疾，真係無哂辦法：( |

For reason to use google dns, see https://blog.dnsimple.com/2015/03/why-and-how-to-use-googles-public-dns/ There are other open dns u can try, check out cloudflare, which is claimed to be the fastest open dns https://gizmodo.com/how-to-speed-up-your-internet-and-protect-your-privacy-1824256587 In fact, it is tidal.com’s recommendation to use open dns for mitigating the buffering/drop off problem, see https://support.tidal.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005871405-Buffering Frankly, after setting the two things, it seems the streaming service is better now, so far no sudden drop out. (Startup is still a little bit slower than expected). For sure, I need to some time to confirm if it is back to normal. |
