| [#106] VW Owners Club ~~ ptcm ching, I am a Sharan owner. Since I have it for less than 3 months, I am not in a position to comment how reliable it is. What I can say is I am satisfy with her as I need to fit in two car seats permanently and have to carry grannies quite often. The third row when folded down can carry two kids bikes and two strollers and other stuff at ease. It suits my needs well. |

| [#110] VW Owners Club ~~ ptcm Ching, This is my first ever automobile, so I can't do any comparison out of personal experience. But according to other Chings, VW is quite expensive in services offered comparing to Japanese brands. For your reference, I smashed the electrical sliding door in October last year. (I had another thread on this) I had my car sent back to VW. The door was replaced, alignment fixed; front and rear bumper replaced because of scratches, 2 wheels and tires replaced, the bill came out at $100k, and that was paid by insurance finally..... |
