| [#22] Impreza WRX STI 2014 fa20應該有大把改進空間,慢慢進化無問題的... 正如十幾年前gc8既ej207進化到08年ver既ej207,引擎強度及威力一樣大幅增加...gc8年代既ej207其實一樣易冧,馬力powerband不足,改裝承受力亦不足.....但去到08年ver,低扭至高轉都有,承受力強...原裝308匹,原裝機器已經可以承受接近400匹輸出,加埋套4驅+dccd+vsc,講真,唔差lor... 我覺得既然fa20未成熟,不如唔好出新款住啦..依家11代變左4不像......睇死佢過兩年中途就轉新engine... :p |

He told that FA20 DIT doesn't suit well for motor sports. Also, FA20 DIT has been rumored that over revolution can easily damage the motor. We believe this vulnerability for over revolution must be one of the reason why JDM WRX S4, that will be used for circuit track sports driving, couldn't have 6MT. You know, CVT + ECU combionation can easily manage to stop over revolution" Also post #41 "Nothing to do with di. Something is inherently weaker about the fa at high revs. The cvt "benefit" is the ability to sense an over-rev, even a mechanical one, and kick it into neutral, or whatever the cvt equivalent of that is" ＞ dit+強勁低扭係順應市場潮流,係時間問題遮 Agree, flat torque band and fuel economy are 市場潮流, therefore it's necessary to improve the FA series engine before an even more robust version can come out BTW how many years have the FA/FB been in the market? | [#19] Impreza WRX STI 2014 @joeyd The JDM S4 has been long regarded as Levorg sedan version If you know Levorg's performance attributes you can predict the S4 would behave as well... BTW S4 also has electronic handbrake (a NO-NO for WRX series IMHO) as opposed to export version w/mechanical handbrake, as well as rear vented disc brake (export version only has solid cisc) Meanwhile, exclusive use of CVT is likely to protect engine from over-revving Some local auto press like it, others do NOT and think Audi's dual clutch 7AT is better and more responsive Speaking of MB, any thoughts on the GLA? | [#17] Impreza WRX STI 2014 @joeyd Buts M235i still costs $650k at base, still more than STI but also has less capable footwork Even if you minus just the Nav Pro option the vehicle would still be in the $700k range (yes you'll want to keep the rear camera, improved suspension, adaptive lights and trunk-thru) So STI is still a decent choice as long as fuel economy is too much of a concern @h9713325 Note that markets like AU and US have base WRX in 6MT, easy to over-rev and damage engine if tuned at full spec (295-300hp) But you just can't market different engine tunes according to transmission (300/AT, 268/MT) You want the better? | [#13] Impreza WRX STI 2014 我估sti有機會中途轉fa20進化版engine.... 另外,港版wrx普通版downtune到268匹,應該唔關engine負荷事,只係港版sti用緊舊ej257 300匹engine,如果wrx用fa20新引擎,照樣300匹+強勁低扭,根本強過ej257,佢驚sti賣唔去遮.....日本仔就係咁自視過高,市場競爭咁大,仲玩downtune,仲要發生係部標榜性能既車款度...膠膠地... |
