Rich people who are willing to buy expensive cars should pay higher fees and thus taxes. This could also reduce the amount of old cars on the roads since it reduces the transactions of old used cars that might not be worthwhile to be owned as the vehicle license fees are calculated based on the original car prices. |

| [#18] 大家覺得牌費應唔應該重新劃過? it depends waht the governements wants to do. obviosuly our govnement want to do fuck all, just let the days pass year to year. HK style, less do less wrong. if they want a greener hong kong like they always SAY...they should consider lisnce fee according to emmssion figure. so if you have a low emmisson large CC car you pay less, if you have old car small CC but high emmssion level, you pay more. this makes ppl think green when buy not about just engine size, and make ppl moving to newer greener car istead of sticking to their 20 years 2499 cc car also loading should be added for car which are older than certain age, such as over 20 years there will be extra charge per 100cc is also resonable and at least more fair than "under 1500 one fixed sum and then next step is 2500" old and outdated method i say. i can be 0-1500 $xxxx then every 100 cc $xxx and the progrssively higher and higher for large CC cars. but no matter what, unless its FREE, there is always someone not happy. 最後修改時間: 2015-02-26 14:23:51 |

| [#19] 大家覺得牌費應唔應該重新劃過? I would say CC doesn't really matter but emission does. 5000cc or 1000cc should pay the same if the emission level is equal. Same as registration fee on New Car. It is stupid to consider car weight as a factor. |

| [#20] 大家覺得牌費應唔應該重新劃過? ＞正常呎碼私家車應該支付相同牌費。 聽落又似乎有些道理。 牌費其實係架. 但要完善油稅先. 而家大cc車貴牌費, 即係其實將對環境污染既罰金放左係牌費度. 如果可以用油來收多啲稅補足, 就可以劃一牌費. 車主如果想慳錢, 自然會選油耗低既車款 但柴油私家車亦要收油稅, 否則就個個走去渣柴油車 (其實而家都越來越多) 政府谷大柴油私家車牌費其實唔合理. |
