| [#66] F30 320d ＞柴油車 is noisy and shaky.....not easy to get the same comfort level as a petrol luxury cars..... 9 years ago we went to France and rated a diesel Merc C class. It was quiet and comfy enough that I didn't realize it was a diesel car until I had to fill up the gas tank. Two things I noticed was that - 1) the pick up wasn't that great and it couldn't go that fast on highway (2l diesel engine), it pretty much ran out of steam beyond 120-130Km/h; 2) a tank of diesel lasted a long long time, especially on the days we drove a lot on highways. 最後修改時間: 2013-08-22 23:30:47 |

| [#65] F30 320d By design, diesel engine is more reliable than petrol engine due to less moving parts and can last much higher mileage. Early bmw diesels had some problems but the technology should be much more mature now. Other parts of car same as petrol, maybe gearbox needs to be stronger due to high torque but not something difficult technically. But whether the maintenance is any problem in hk I don't know. Mostly the problem is with the turbo than the other parts of engine. 3 series is too small for me and I do not cover so many miles per year to make a real difference in saving for me to switch from my 5 series petrol. |

| [#63] F30 320d Although not BMW, I have owned a Mercedes E280 from 2006-2008 (3000cc diesel) in UK. Before that driving E430 AMG (W210) Definitely no problem in terms of refinement - people who think diesel is noisy and unrefined need to try for themselves before making this comment. Of course V8 engine of E430 feels so smooth but that is not a fair comparison. In terms of real economy, to be honest the claims they make are always too optimistic so make a 20-30% discount from official figures. UK diesel is more expensive than petrol so real $ saving limited, but HK diesel is so cheap and you will really save $$. Torque of turbodiesel engine makes it just as powerful as E430 up to 100km/h although after that the low rev-range and horsepower makes it slower - but for HK this is no problem. I have not tried BMW 320d, but based on my experience using 2006 diesel technology - we are now in 2013....so must be even better!! 最後修改時間: 2013-08-22 12:18:01 |
