Check if the water pump, oil pump, fuel pump have been replaced, also the sensors for the transmission (there are 2), as these are the more expensive parts. Check if the ABS still works. Since it is ＞10 years, airbags should be failing soon, as the dynamite inside would be neutralized. If it is the 2000 year, which means the previous owner should have gone through most. You have to understand that it is a sports sedan, and it required better engine oil and spark plugs. On the other hand, it can give you great driving pleasure. |

I used to think for aged used cars, MB should be better than BM, in terms of reliability and fuel efficiency. I almost bought a E49 528i many years ago but finally picked a "E" and later a CLK. Your M3 looks wonderful! |
