After all, Porsche is always about bugs-killing sports car. This is how Porsche positions itself in the market place. At least 95% of potential Porsche buyers of Macan will not use it for real off-road purpose. So, there is simply no business case for Porsche. |

| [#33] Macan equipment poor Maybe if Porsche adopts some kind of Terrain Response management to its 4WD in addition to PTV+ diff, as well as limited-slip centre diff (of even locking diff), then I would consider recommending it... Otherwise it's still just some stylish mid-size SUV which pretends to be off-road capable... What's the point anyway, just to satisfy the customer with the Porsche marque, so that they can flaunt like "Hey, I've got a Porsche SUV blah blah balh..." Very competitively priced (compared to other Porsche models), high quality built, great performance, and the legendary Porsche badge make for a winning package. |
