Actually it is a common character shared by many Germany companies - where engineers have a lot of say in key business decisions - in the past. But nowadays, marketing has become the buzz word also for the Germans. -- social engagement, culture connection, .. arts and classic integration.... are today's sales language in the car industry. Despite these commonalities I do think Audi is special in a few areas - their long heritage of engineers' DNA from the days before the Auto Union, the firm belief that 4 wheel drive is better, the commitment and pioneering of using light weight material on mass production cars (A8 ASF) long before others are doing it, and the courage to try different things - using a diesel in Le Mans, and the invention of a design language very different from its competitors... | [#20] For BMW fans Leave the selector on the right, only the left mirror will auto tilt down. When selector is on the left, no mirror will auto tilt down. Hope this is clear, sorry for being the first one confused the left & right. |
