| [#5] Genesis any good? Price of a low-mid priced E-class, you got an "almost" S-Class vehicle with an V6 engine. Even Genesis is considered as a mid-size luxury sedan, it is longer and more spacious than it's immediate rival Merc E, Bimmer 5er, Audi A6, Lexus GS and infiniti Q70. Don't expect it is as refine as the Euro counterprt but the look is pretty good and the Genesis engine is quite decent and smooth. Apart from the Korean expats in here, IMHO, it makes a pretty good company sedan for chauffeuring company's clients to and fro destinations considering you are paying only a fraction of the cost to get a nicely equipped, top of the line luxury sedan. (Isn't Alphard too boring?) But for private sedan market, with HKers (especially this segment of customers) exceptionally high brand conscious and image, it is almost a mission impossible for it to cut into it now. It took almost 15 years (3 generations) to clean up Mazda image, and honestly I don't know how much time (if ever) it will take for Hyundai make the cut into the HK's luxury market. Well, it's a Hyundai anyway, you simply won't think about resell value, will you? |

| [#6] Genesis any good? Let's wait for media's verdict on this one, test driving arrangement is said to commence next week A few initial minor complaints on the vehicle: 1. Rear brake discs (vented presumably) a bit too smaller than expected 2. Menu GUI language not available in Chinese (EN/KR only) at this moment 3. No sat nav option 4. Rear trunk opening handle feels a bit too cheap on the rubber 5. Auto trunk closing not too sensitive to friction/obstacle detection, requires more force to defeat auto closing 6.
