| [#14] The New Volvo V40 ＞#6. olddude c-hing, can u tell more? For the first few years, there were a couple of problems such as worn bearings and were fixed under warranty. However, I noticed the brake pads and tires worn out much faster than other cars I had owned. After 4 years, things started to go wrong. First, the transmission had to be replaced due to a defect in the cooling system. At the same time, it was discovered that one of the driving shaft was on the way out. Then the brake booster had to be replaced. There was also a problem with the suspension that would have to be fixed eventually. By the time the tires were worn out again (twice within about 40,000Km driven), it was about time to get rid of it. I had own various brand of cars over the years and the only car having a worse track record was a Renault I owned in the early 80's. Even my other current car, a 2000 Jag, had a much better track record. Having a kid, I loved the safety features of Volvo. However, I just can't accept a supposedly premium model could have so many problems with only 40K on the click and less than 6 years old. 最後修改時間: 2013-01-30 22:54:11 |

| [#16] The New Volvo V40 I'm full confidence of the new V40, and learnt that its price target at around $ 29X K. In fact, it gives me an impression that it looks like the new MB A250. The target of V40 aims to MB A series, Audi A3 series, BMW 1 series, VW Golf ... And I found the interior of the new V40 match better with this small HB car than Volvo's others. I'm driving the XC 90 since early 2010. This SUV's quality is good, and its performance pretty meets my expectation except it drinks a lot of gas (perhaps due to my 22" wheels). |

| [#17] The New Volvo V40 I'm happy to see Volvo has been changing all lines of her car models becoming younger, no more boxer-look. If Volvo can fine tune her "simple northern European" style interior to become more elegance and rich like the German, I'm sure that it will be a bigger threat to the 3 German car makers. |
