[#15] Seeking advise: tire choices for Porsche Cayman S fkclo ching, I have just replaced a set of PS2-N on my 911, bought in HK (using Pzero before), both are good tires just PS2 is more durable. As for N, it is made a bit harder for performance vehicles (Porsche) and the price is juz a bit more expensive, so my opinion is why settle for less if you are already driving a Porsche. |

[#14] Seeking advise: tire choices for Porsche Cayman S Apparently the Pilot Super Sport (PSS) launched in 2011 has been receiving great reviews as a step above PS2, although it is not yet "approved" by Porsche, and so no N-spec variant in the market. Any one try the PSS in Hong Kong? What are the price norm for a set of 235/40/18 (front) and 26540/18 (rear) ? I am very tempted. However, I come to learn that a tyre that works overseas may not suit Hong Kong so I would appreciate feedback and suggestions. One more thing - it looks like if one used a non-N-Spec tyre, the Porsche warranty will be affected (as in the case in USA / UK). Wonder what will be the case in Hong Kong ? I haven't asked Porsche Centre yet, but if I asked, I think they will take the "official line". 最後修改時間: 2012-07-12 20:07:48 |

PS11 Seem better than AD 08 and P Zero for rainy day.., but for dry..AD08/PZero seem better..and been wondering.how;s good is the RE11 but as fresh as possible.. 最後修改時間: 2012-07-12 11:34:18 |

[#8] Seeking advise: tire choices for Porsche Cayman S I own Cayman S too. N or no N are both the same tyre. I am using PSII with no N. No different at all. N is a little more expensive. Just make sure you request for a fresh tyre. 最後修改時間: 2012-07-10 23:14:08 |

[#4] Seeking advise: tire choices for Porsche Cayman S @Rosenbloom ching: Thanks. Actually I am keeping the Golf and the Audi. The Cayman is just an addition to the family. I always want to drive a Porsche so I think the Cayman S should be a relatively easy start. 最後修改時間: 2012-07-09 18:00:05 |

[#1] Seeking advise: tire choices for Porsche Cayman S Hello all, Wonder what are the tire choices suitable for Hong Kong condition. The car comes with 18" wheels with Pilot Sport II tires. Just wonder what are the possible or better alternatives suitable for Hong Kong - hot summer and rain, poor road surface and a lot of joints.... I read from the internet that Porsche "approved" tires have to be "N-Spec" but do not understand what that means. Many thanks in advance. |
