| [#1] Toyota Warranty I have an Alphard and needed repair for the rear parking camera, so called Toyota regarding the warranty period. According to what the Toyota representative said, she said some parts are 1 yr warranty, some are 2yr and some are 3yrs and the major comportment is 5 years warranty. My broken part is at 2 year warranty. Then I read the warranty booklet, it said 3yrs + 2 yrs(major parts only) = 5yrs. Didn't mentioned which part is 1 year or 2 years warranty covered. So, I asked the Toyota representative where can I find a list saying which parts is belongs to what years of warranty. She said it only shows in their computer, the public do not know. My question is, is that normal in HK car market? For my understanding, 3 years warranty should cover everything unless mishandling or normal tear/wear. 最後修改時間: 2016-09-19 16:47:41 |

| [#2] Toyota Warranty Honestly, this is quite a common practice to "add-on" accessories, especially Toyota, where a lot of "after-market" accessories are installed locally (not factory installed), like leather seats/stereo/rear parking cam/sensors and they are highly likely to have only 1 year warranty from the dealer. |

| [#3] Toyota Warranty Thank you 我是一個人, Got what you mean. Toyota should have mentioned this in advance to avoid any confusion. Nor keep saying 3+2 warranty. In fact, it should be 1 + 2 + 3 warranty. |

| [#10] Toyota Warranty If I read your booklet right, only those listed as major components are under 3 years factory + 2 years distributors warranty and additional equipment that installed before delivery should have 2 years. Nothing mentioned about 1 year though. |

| [#14] Toyota Warranty Let me recap, According to the warranty booklet, it said 3 yrs warranty plus 2 years additional for major parts. And for the 0-2 yrs warranty, it is only for option parts. For the rear parking camera, I didn't order this as it comes with the car originally nor they told me this is consider option part. That's why I was thinking this should come with 3 yrs warranty. In fact, I asked Toyota for a list of what the option parts are in Alphard. They are unable to provide. "樓主部 alphard 車機 用 菲記... ???? " I don't know what brand is the rear camera. |
