[#2] 汽油請教 some believe all same. some believe certain brand better my believe is each car match each brand differently. you need to test them all to tell. but my actual action is , which fuel station near my home i go to there...during the last 5 years, i only used esso and once china petrol. i recall the china petrol reutrned less milage. and esso F1 does make the car feel more responsive. vs. the cheap fuel. |

[#8] 汽油請教 『選擇』月刊第285期 (二○○○年七月十七日) 消費者委員會促請油公司引入不同辛烷值的汽油,讓本港的消費者有更多選擇。 消委會的建議是基於最近的調查顯示,約七成半在港有售的汽車型號可以用95辛烷值(Research Octane Number,即RON)的汽油。 現時本港油公司只出售不同配方98辛烷值無鉛汽油,令駕駛人士不能選擇辛烷值較低而又較平宜的汽油。 消委會的調查包括了大部份在本港出售的汽車型號,其中約七成半(316型號中的239)可用95辛烷值的汽油。 辛烷值是汽油抗爆能力的指標,爆震(knocking)時會發出急促的金屬撞擊聲。經常性爆震會損害汽車的引擎。 汽油的辛烷值應配合汽車引擎的「壓縮比」,高「壓縮比」需要較高辛烷值的汽油。低「壓縮比」的引擎使用高辛烷值汽油時,不會增加汽車性能。 一直以來,本港大部份駕車人士要購買較高辛烷值的汽油,即使在一般行車情況下不會提高汽車性能,卻要多付費用。 油公司亦曾指出辛烷值較高是導致本港汽油價格偏高的其中一個原因,但聲稱是市場的需求。 這可能是1991年當香港開始轉用無鉛汽油的情況,當時駕駛人士投訴95無鉛汽油比97有鉛汽油的力量稍遜。但現時的汽車引擎設計和調較已經不同,多數能配合使用95 辛烷值汽油,情況與1991年時已不同。 正因如此,再加上消委會調查結果-即大部份在本港有售的汽車型號可以採用低於98辛烷值的汽油,油公司應再次引入95辛烷值汽油,讓消費者可以選擇,不必多花金錢於汽油上。 油站要同時供應不同辛烷值汽油應該不會有問題,例如把95辛烷值汽油儲存於現今兩種98辛烷值汽油的其中一油缸內。 車主應參閱車行提供的「車主手冊」,清楚汽車需要用那一種汽油及適用的辛烷值。 專家指出,車主使用「車主手冊」內指定的辛烷值汽油,已足夠應付一般路面的行車情況。使用過高辛烷值的汽油,並不會提高汽車性能。 如果車輛長時間攀山和負重時馬力驟降,車主應找認可的維修技術員檢查引擎的各項調校是否正確,才考慮轉用較高辛烷值汽油。 消委會亦建議車主定期保養及清潔引擎,以防止因機件問題提高汽油所需的辛烷值。 |

[#9] 汽油請教 《選擇》月刊第402期(2010年04月15日) 油公司應引入辛烷值較低(95)的無鉛汽油,讓本港車主有更多選擇。 現時市面上只有較昂貴的高辛烷值(98)無鉛汽油出售。 消費者委員會建議油公司考慮提供不同辛烷值的汽油予消費者選擇。 這是由於消委會最新調查發現,在本港出售的汽油車型號中,61%(550款中的337款)若使用95辛烷值汽油,也可達到汽車的最佳性能。 大部分本港流行的歐洲和日本房車都可使用95辛烷值的汽油,一些汽車包括客貨車所需的汽油辛烷值甚至低至88至93。 須用98辛烷值汽油的主要為高級跑車。 調查數據來自24間主要汽車入口商代理的32個品牌所建議的辛烷值要求。 而事實上要求引入95辛烷值汽油到本港市場是有足夠理據。 在其他地區,包括美國、英國、法國、德國、西班牙、日本、新加坡、台灣和內地的油站,都有兩至三種不同辛烷值的無鉛汽油出售。 以新加坡為例,統計顯示92及95辛烷值無鉛汽油的銷售量,在2008年分別上升了13%和14%,佔總銷量的8.9%和55.6%。而98辛烷值無鉛汽油銷售量則下跌了18%至總銷售量的35.5%。 在歐盟,95辛烷值無鉛汽油佔2007年總銷量的85%。 根據外國媒體報道,在美國,92辛烷值無鉛汽油佔總銷量的75%。而在日本,89及90辛烷值無鉛汽油佔整體無鉛汽油銷量的85%。 對於消委會建議同時提供98和95辛烷值無鉛汽油,大部分油公司的回應屬正面。 惟油公司亦關注經濟效益 - 是否有足夠的公眾支持和市場需求。 油公司提出的另一個障礙為油站面積有限,缺乏地方儲存不同的汽油。 但消委會相信,鑑於調查所得的結果,駕車人士應享有可選擇較便宜的汽油而帶來的好處。 專家意見指出,汽車使用廠商所建議的最低辛烷值的汽油已足夠,即使長時間上斜坡或負重亦毋須使用較高辛烷值汽油。 使用高於建議的最低辛烷值的汽油,不會提高車輛的表現,只是浪費金錢。 在新加坡和台灣,95辛烷值比98辛烷值無鉛汽油的零售價低4%至5%。相差的百分比看似微不足道,但長遠來說,實際支出分別可能很大。 要解決存放空間問題,消委會建議油公司可考慮把95辛烷值汽油儲存於現時兩種98辛烷值汽油的其中一個油缸內 |

Consequently, a higher percentage of energy released in burning of this petrol fuel is used to drive the car. A petrol fuel with a lower octane number burns rapidly. Pre-ignition occurs and some energy released in burning of the petrol fuel is used to make the "vibration" of internal combustion engine, and this is called "knocking". |

[#13] 汽油請教 The octane rating of gasoline tells you how much the fuel can be compressed before it spontaneously ignites. When gas ignites by compression rather than because of the spark from the spark plug, it causes knocking in the engine. Knocking can damage an engine, so it is not something you want to have happening. Lower-octane gas (like "regular" 87-octane gasoline) can handle the least amount of compression before igniting. The compression ratio of your engine determines the octane rating of the gas you must use in the car. One way to increase the horsepower of an engine of a given displacement is to increase its compression ratio. So a "high-performance engine" has a higher compression ratio and requires higher-octane fuel. The advantage of a high compression ratio is that it gives your engine a higher horsepower rating for a given engine weight -- that is what makes the engine "high performance." The disadvantage is that the gasoline for your engine costs more. |

[#15] 汽油請教 唔係debate.. 好多人真係唔知. 以為高辛焥值就係代表d油純度高.. 襟燒d. 其實辛焥值係一個好簡單既數, 就係係實驗室test下可以接受到幾多壓縮而唔產生knocking. 同佢能量輸出係冇任何關係. >測定辛烷值是以異辛烷之辛烷值定為100,正庚烷辛烷值定為0,任何汽油在標準之引擎試驗中與此種標準油作一比較,如果某一汽油在引擎中所產生之爆震,正好與98﹪異辛烷及2﹪正庚烷之混合油的爆震程度相同,即稱此汽油之辛烷值為98號. 某一汽油在引擎中所產生之爆震,正好與98%異辛烷及2%正庚烷之混合物的爆震程度相同,即稱此汽油之辛烷值為98。此燃油若再滲合其它添加劑,辛烷值可大於98或小於98甚或超過100。 >若低壓縮比引擎使用過高之辛烷值時,會使燃燒溫度過高,引擎過熱,燒壤排汽門,不會增加馬力,不會省油,會發生燃燒不完全,增加廢氣中之芳香烴類排於空氣中,反而增加空氣中之致癌物,所以不鼓勵使用。 Finally, dont be mislead by oil company.. [#16] 汽油請教 i don't know about the science but from my expeerience swtiching between Esso normal and F1. I have two different experinece with my current and old car. I do konw in HK all fuel same rating, but i DO feel a different in responsiveness when change to F1 in my current car (just a family car), i can not comment on real perfomrance or milage as there are too many factors to consdier and to factor in, need scientific proof. but i do enjoy the F1 fuel more. with my previous car, they felt 100% the same to me no matter f1 or the normal one. so therefore, for me is car and fuel matching. i konw science is important but in the real world many things are trial and error. and as to which brand is best, i don't konw but my guess is same as everything else in this world. you get what you paid for, so therefore, which brand most expesinve must be the best. my feeling only, do not punch me if wrong. 最後修改時間: 2014-02-20 10:49:52 |

[#19] 汽油請教 I do agree from technical standpoint the octane is not directly related to efficiency. A car with low compression ratio can use 90 while using 98 won't benefit. A car with high compression ratio has to use 95, using 90 will hurt. Simple as this. |
