| [#13] Audi A1 The positioning of A1 is very different from the BMW 1 Series. A1 is not about the ultimate in driving pleasure or race feel, but it is aim to be a premium, elegant, compact and green car with a lot of customisation (not sure if this is the case in Hong Kong). It comes with features and materials that are typically found in bigger and more expensive cars. Audi has spent a lot of effort in striking a balance between luxury, cost, and practicality. I think if it sells good in the Market, a S1 or RS1 would be an easy addition to the series... But we will see. |

| [#16] Audi A1 Dealer has special introduction price this weekend for 230K, I paid $15K for extra option of xenon "eyebrow" headlights, a bit expensive but they make a difference in the overall look. I'll have the door arch re-sprayed to a clashing colour when the car arrives on May. Shouldn't be too serious about A1, it's meant to be a inexpensive fun car. By the way, it's made in Germany & built quality is very good indeed. |
