| [#1] land/range rover poorly handled by Inchcape Inchcape HK is Bad. Jaguar Land Rover is good brand but poorly handled by Inchcape Hong Kong. Inchcape HK crashes customer's car, not able to repair nor restore. Although the car was just services a few days before it enter the centre for suspension replacement, so many other problem appeared after the crash and Inchcape HK refuse to cover them. My range rover went in to replace the annoying air suspensions and air pump Sep 2012. A few days later, the kwai chung centre crashed the solid steel hard range rover when "parking slowly". see photos above. Even car inspector doubted the impact force unless range rover is made of weak economy metal like tata motor's lowest lines of car. Even after several discussion, they still had not sent me Land Rover computer generated testing report. The asked HKAA to inspect the car for road worthiness only for this luxury range rover. HKAA report pointed out problems after the crash but Inchcape ignored them. However HKAA's report revealed a few of the many other problem post crash. Many problems are beyond road worthiness standard because range rover is a luxury car. Malfunction found in steering column, steering angle sensor, audio output, roof blind clip, front mask clip broken, oil leakage, scratches / crash mark on car body during Inchcape custody. They refused to cover all these problems which never appeared before the crash. Not to mention these problem parts beyond road worthiness, they had not even completed repair and restore the car back to pre-crash condition. Strange noise mentioned is still observed during driving, which is potentially resulted from welding joints. Front right mid-range speaker slight distortion mentioned continues. They had no clue but merely asked me to replace the stereo amplifier at. If Inchcape HK is limited at roadworthiness standard and not able to fix, please stop ruining good brands. |
