[#29] Mercedes-Benz E250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY 環保新稅大贏家 My C230 is actually 2500cc, I think a smaller model number make you feel psychologically better. It is just a bit weird to drive a MB at E250 with only 1800cc, no matter how you say or feel that it is similar to a 2500cc model, because a blue efficiency 2500cc engine should be better than a same series 1800cc engine, right? I'd rather driving E180 new MB model and telling others it can outbeat the E250 model from the previous model, rather than writing a million words to prove my E250 (but with 1800cc) that it really means something. |

I think that makes huge difference in the way how the car consume fuel in the "urban" setting. |

Turbo engine is ok for sporting cars since the engine jerks when the turbo is switched on, when it's off it has low torque, ( turble lag )bi-turbo is better, but expensive. Turbo engine is economical when its turbo is off at low revs not when its on. So turbo engines are good for city driving where slow progressions are often. 6 cylinder engines are as economical as turbo engines when cruising on the motorway, a lot quieter. Me? I drive a 3 litre V6 comfortable car! |
