| [#7] Alfa Romeo Giulietta Competizione I am not going to say much. It is a good deal. In short it gives you extra clover leaf stickers and also uses the classic Alfa 5 ring dial rim rather than GTS's turbine look. They need to clean up the stock because facelift next year, outlook not much changes but major changes to the central panel. Will have touch screen and things. The car is good on gas and also great handling. I was debating between A250 and Alfa, and went for the Alfa with no regrets. A200 is 340K, but canvas seats and also no climate control and also no sunroof and 16" only. At same trimmings you need to add close to 120K which makes it 460K. | [#8] Alfa Romeo Giulietta Competizione Tested driving the Giulietta (170hp) last saturday. Then came across the new volvo V40 T4 plus (180hp) also had test drive at the same street. Compared two cars, the new V40 T4 plus is not only much better in control, roomy and comfortable but also same price. So finally I changed my mind to get V40 T4 plus. | [#9] Alfa Romeo Giulietta Competizione @letsrock With AR you don't get many options and that the vehicle concerned is already very nicely equipped in most cases But with MB As and Bs you not only have to pay more for some options, but also some options are NOT even available for HKDM Examples include Comand sat nav and full-auto A/C and even the HKDM A45/CLA45 can't have them as extras either One question though: how's the electronics durability and reliability on current AR models? |

| [#13] Alfa Romeo Giulietta Competizione Dear rock hing, thanks for the advise. paid the deposit for a white one,it's actually the spotiva SP version with '5 hole' rim instead of the 'bi color'rim. test drive is better than expected,I won't drive fast. Interior better than expected actually,I owned a 33 1.7 more than 20 years ago and I would say the new one is much better but engine sound is too gentle for the G when compared with the 33. Funny that Volvo and AR are kind of two extremes.....yet now both being considered by many when looking for cars..it just show how similar cars have become in the last 10 years. AR become so much more reliable and more user firendly, Volvo become so much more modern and sporty.. good or bad? i mean back in the 80s i am sure any one who consdier buying an AR woulnd't even consdering walking into a Volvo show room.... |
