| [#8] Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Hong Kong launch party I read from the Singtao blurb that this one here is one night stand only... after which the F12b moves on with its Asian roadshow tour So media and VIPs get to see the actual LHD F12B while the public Joes get ZERO chance!? BTW, would be hard to believe those legendary FR V12 vehicles will be showcased at the Verandah and NOT at the underground garage... Not only the underground garage has ample capacity to pull off this showcase, but it also provides absolute security to these vehicles...... The other problem with showcasing the vehicles at the Verandah is that it means guests have to walk from the Verancah to the actual showroom for the unveiling, and vice versa (if dinner is being served again)... not so "prestigious" treatment to have guests to use public crosswalks No catalogue distribution is likely to be expected (given the trend these years), but at least for media, include a PDF catalogue in the press disc instead... | [#9] Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Hong Kong launch party According to the venue, there were some 400 guests joined the event. Assuming half of which were friends or relatives of Ferrari owners , there should be at least 200 Ferrari owners joined the event. I also saw Mclaren MPC12-4, Lamborghini LP-700, in addition to Ferrari F360, 430 & many 458. The organizer also displayed some legendary models. Two of my friends who owned the 599, already placed an order for the F12 right before it was launched... The less perfect thing was the audio system at the showroom. An external hired company provided the sound system but it was horrible! Voice unclear but harsh, caused ear fatigue. Distortion was heard when the sound just got a bit louder. I suggest IMSS use a better supplier next time as such sound quality badly affected the image of the company and the car! |
