| [#2] Mini Cooper my advise if don't buy the early production batch, e.g. 02-04, Buy those after 04, because there is a reliability issue on the cvt gearbox which the later production changed to a normal 6 speed gearbox. |

| [#8] Mini Cooper Yes, before 2004 is called 1st generation Mini and uses CVT. Actually the technology of Mini is quite outdated. The output of the engine is just soso, even for a Cooper S. The gearbox is nothing special. Yet it may be hard to fit in other substitute as the engine is so small. Having said that, the car is fun to drive. I still missed it from time to time. |
