| [#1] 爆呔 When leaving the car park, a man told me the front left tyre of my car 爆呔... He was very kind and changed the tyre for me (using the spare one) I've got several questions... 1. We could not spot any holes, then why there was 爆呔? 2. I've heard that the spare tyre should not be used as front tyre and its pressure is higher than other tyres... What should I do now (I have just driven the car from Shatin to Kowloon and from Kowloon to Shatin and it seemed there was not problem)? Must I go to ask sb to check the tyre for me? Can the broken tyre be used after it has been fixed? 3. My car is still under the guarantee of Crown (mine is corolla), should I just call crown and drive the car to let them check? Many thanks... |

| [#2] 爆呔 From time to time, you cannot spot a small puncture with naked eyes and it is just a simple thing to go visiting any tire shop for a check. If it is not serious, probably $50 will have the rupture fixed. Secondly about the spare tire, if it is a full size identical spare, you don't need to do anything and simply keep using it (front or rear). If you suspect the tire pressure is not right, have the tire people check it for you while fixing the punctured one. | [#3] 爆呔 1. You can't spot out where the puncture hole is doesn't mean it is not existed 2. Spare tyre usually is for temporarily use only (the wear-out condition is different when compare with another tyre, or sometimes the diameter is also different), and you should fix it asap or change both the left and right tyres simutaneously 3. | [#5] 爆呔 you may not find the puncture, but with a tank of water, it is easy. And that is why most of the tyre shops have a used bathtub. |
