| [#1] VW brake nosie problem Any brother using VW have the same problem, there is a 'at at' sound that you stop the car, especially on the downhill road. When it is checked by the dealer, the engineer/ technician said that it is normal and it happen on all model of VW. |

| [#5] VW brake nosie problem Sound like the action of "Brake Assist System" in working. My previous VW and now w204 also features this function. That is the system detected when you want to stop the car (in very low speed) and hold, the system will apply high brake pressure to hold it firmly. This feature keep you safe in preventing backside collision. I am happy with it when ZF told me this. |

| [#9] VW brake nosie problem 我而加架w204新車落地時已發覺落好斜既斜坡時，停定架車之前時係會有一下"轟"，放brake時到某個位再踏時，係會發出低沉既"轟...轟轟....轟"，我老婆重以為機件咁快打柴，即刻送返ZF檢查，沒事，原來所有Benz和其他歐洲車都係咁，係那個"BAS"的介入所至，當"轟"時，四個brake都用高液壓拿死，係安全系統一部份。 |

| [#12] VW brake nosie problem If "at at sound" is audible during very gentle braking at near stopping speed and sometimes when release the brake from stop very gently, happens in an auto gear box engaged in D ......then it is quite common and is normal.....it can be the clutch sound. Luxury car make less or in-audible sound. One can prove it by engaging N when gently braking the car just before it stops...if sound sould disappears instantly.... |

| [#13] VW brake nosie problem ""One can prove it by engaging N when gently ...."" 呢個亦是証明個 "Hill-hold control "的方法。當係 N 檔時個 Hill Hold 係會取消的。個 Hill Hold 的功用係會幫手自動銷死個轆，即使停定後好輕力甚至放腳吾踩 Brake 都吾會溜後的。 其實呢個係 Bosch 的 brake by wire 系統 (會連同埋個供油系統工作) 的特性。大家其實係踩緊一個電掣 (當然為著 "萬一"，個系統都直接連動個油壓系統的)。個電腦會分析四個轆的轉速，方向盤角度，車速，油門或 brake的踩踏板角度及速度去計算每個轆的剎掣液壓力度。作用係縮短剎停距離，側滑跣軑，起步跣軑，ABS 等。 |
