Probably no 4WD on passenger vehicles are mainly for tackling snowy conditions, also adds extra weight to the drivetrain and subsequently extra cost Also some models can be equipped with 4WD on LHD models only |

| [#8] BMW X4 or Porsche Macan? Aaron ching, cannot agree more. Also, more cost on daily operation (gas) and maintenance. People in HK and major cities buy SUVs for their "tough" image which I find it silly. |

| [#9] BMW X4 or Porsche Macan? ＞ People in HK and major cities buy SUVs for their "tough" image which I find it silly Those customers want cabin comfort and convenience instead of true off-roading performance... could've gotten a van instead IMHO In fact those vehicles concerned are not even proper SUVs but regarded as "crossover vehicle" Some models however do provide some off-roading performance via modern traction/stability/throttle management thru computer hardware, and depending on custom programming, off-roading capability can be varied eg. LR2, Evoque, Forester, Macan,...... OTOH some capable SUVs get degraded only becuz by default they don't get low-range (only optional extra), eg. MB ML, GL LR however has smeared its image by offering a single transfer case on the LR4 (Disco) as option, to lower the price just to tailor those who don't need heavy-duty off-road performance... Luckily that doesn't seem to happen in HK as all LR4s come with proper low-range for HKDM |

| [#10] BMW X4 or Porsche Macan? For cabin comfort and convenience, I would rather go for a full-size seden unless I am 2M tall or 300lb+. I am a regular 7-seater passager. With the high centre of gravity, the ride makes dizzy sometimes even I enjoy the large amount of legroom which I do not usually need. |

| [#12] BMW X4 or Porsche Macan? No, from a passenger point of view, e-class or similar. It is not necessary top of the line. Usually, car makers ask for a lot more for luxurious options. As long as it gives a reasonable amount of leg room and head room and not too crowded to fit two adults at the back (I don’t buy the idea of 5-seater unless it is flat floor), most of all, within a reasonable amount of body roll and damping, I think it can be a good passenger car to fit your statement of "cabin comfort and convenience". Two stepping steps and high body height of a SUV is far from cabin comfort and convenience in my personal opinion. |
