| [#2] 新車擺多過行，係唔係對架車唔好 ? The major problem is HK's humid weather which cause condensation. Running the car would drive away condensation. Prolonged condensation in a car would cause all kind of oxidation and corrosion on the parts, especially electrical parts and connections (in particular European cars). Also, condensation in gas tank means water in gas tank. Condensation also causes molds growth in the interior trimming and ventilation ducts. Also, even if you are not going out, try driving the car at least once a week. First, I don't know how they were trained driving a cab but most of the driver ain't putting passenger ride comfort as part of their considerations. Secondly, don't know why, there are always some funny smell in most of the cab cabin (even worse if the driver is a smoker). Don't get me wrong, I am not saying every taxi is as bad, but, I would say, more than half of the rides I took were. |
