| [#1] Merc Benz C Class Trunk Size Can anyone please tell me whether the trunk of recent years model C Class is big enough to carry a 32/33 inches suitcase PLUS a 28 inches suitcase. I need to know in order to book a rental car for our next trip. Thanks in advance! |

| [#4] Merc Benz C Class Trunk Size @stanfield Except that when dealing with a rental vehicle, better not stash those luggage onto rear seats without flip-down, if upholstery gets damaged then the driver will be in trouble So, getting a vehicle with flexible rear seat arrangement (60/40 fold-down typical) is key when dealing with rentals |

| [#5] Merc Benz C Class Trunk Size Thanks for all the advice. I don't think rental cars would have 6/40 split. We also have a kid with us. If one of the suitcase couldn't fit in the trunk, we used to put it in the rear seat vertically. However, it will be a driving trip with different hotels every night. I am not too comfortable with leaving the suitcases exposed when stopping at locations on the way. | [#6] Merc Benz C Class Trunk Size Don't get a car without a trunk cover otherwise you are inviting someone to break the windows. Trust me, "desperate" people will break a window even if you left small changes in your car. Try to get a touring/estate instead, an c-sedan trunk is just a laugh. |

Italy, don't get a merc. you are asking for it! get what the local drives and make sure some empty bottles in teh back seats with a local paper. that's waht I did in Rome last year. | [#8] Merc Benz C Class Trunk Size ＞c-sedan trunk is just a laugh That's my concern. If it is similar in size to a BMW 3 series then it is definitely on the small side. However, according to Hertz, it can take 3 large suitcases(!), that is why I am wondering. Probably they counted the rear seat as well. |

Please note the word, C-Class "or similar", so the statement "may" not apply to one particular model. ;) If you are that concern, why don't you place a visit to a Merc showroom and check it out? |

| [#12] Merc Benz C Class Trunk Size Speaking of break-ins... just any rental vehicle is prone to it, whether it's sedan or wagon, whether it's MB or cheapie Chrysler, whether the wagon has tonneau covers or whatever......
