| [#1] mazda maintenance I m planning to get a 2nd hand mazda 6. any comments on Mazda maintiance in general? ie compare to Europ car like VW, Benz, Audi, BW and compare to tother Japanese brand, will parts be easily avaiable for resonable price? |

| [#2] mazda maintenance I own a 2006 2.3 Mazda 5drs since new and have 139000 clicks on the clock. I have the major maintenance done with the dealer twice a year and have no problems at all except I had a speed sensor problem on the 1st year and the dealer had it fix under warranty. In between the major maintenance, I have the oil change at my local garage. |

| [#6] mazda maintenance No, pre facelift Mazda6 got a 4 speeds gearbox, I drove one for a week (mazda dealer loaned a 2005 to me while my car was being fixed, the speed sensor problem) and honestly it does not fit the power band of the MZR engine, so, I would recommend to skip the earlier one. The touring one is definitely cool but there ain't a lot available. |

| [#9] mazda maintenance Yes, you got the idea. There is only a single fin on the front grill of a FL Maz6 and all 2006 & after 2.3L version came with electric folding side mirror with turn signal indicator on it. As far as a I know, Mazda did import a batch of FL Maz6 at the end of 2005, that came with a 5 speeds gearbox as well but without side mirror turning indicator. Also, you can see the front and rear skirts are integrated with the bumper as one piece while the earlier one were installed separately as 2 pieces. HID and 8 airbags (6 on a pre-FL) is another feature that only came with a FL model. I am not sure if pre-FL got the driver side electric seat but the FL one got the driver side electric seat with 3 memory settings. |

| [#11] mazda maintenance I'm still driving a Mazda 6 Wagon manufactured in 2003. Quite good at the moment with stylish outlook and enough power. If possible, got a new version as the fuel consumption is much lower. However, HK agent does not import new 6 wagon. |
