| [#2] Import Car from UK I imported a car from UK last year via a friend. Tax is based on "invoiced value + freight charges", on a progressive scale. Details are here: http://www.td.gov.hk/en/public_services/licences_and_permits/vehicle_first_registration/guidelines_for_importation_and_registration_of_mot/index.html For container, it is about 30-40K, which can fit 2 cars. So if you can share with someone can really save some $. |
