| [#1] 如果諗住長期唔用架車, 應該點做好? 因為就快買新車, 而舊果架又唔想賣, 想長放o係車場, o甘我應該點呢, 入full油, 定係盡量流番小d油好呢? 舊電係唔係應該disconnect左佢, 到用先connect番呢 要唔要1,2個月o係車場行幾轉run一run呢.. 希望有d種經驗o既ching 幫幫手啦.. 謝謝.. 而且牌費驗車又點呢.. 之前有ching post左條link, 2年唔續就會cut牌.. o甘我係唔係應該就到2年果時拎去驗一次車,續一季牌呢.. 但保險又點呢.. 無啦啦join一年新保險?? 但我又唔渣, 好似唔化算.. 雖然話唔渣, 但可能幾年後會想渣番下, 所以唔想佢cut牌.. thx大家.. 最後修改時間: 2013-01-10 15:32:35 |

| [#2] 如果諗住長期唔用架車, 應該點做好? Unless the car you are going to keep has the potential to be a classic, you might as well sell it. With the humid climate in HK, it would just rust/rot away if not driven regularly. If you really want to store it for long term, just google "long term car storage" and you can find a lot of useful advice. |

| [#13] 如果諗住長期唔用架車, 應該點做好? Ching, it's your car and your money. If you want to keep it, go ahead. 1) You can consider to install a "kill switch" to prevent drainage of the battery. It's similar to a key which you can turn, kill the power, and take the "key" away so the electricity is cut off between the battery and rest of the system. But you may want to check with your garage to make sure such action will not affect the onboard computers, etc... Also remember the battery will die eventually so you may want to go out for a drive to recharge the battery once every 3 months or so 2) Pump your tires with more pressure than usual to ensure they have enough pressure left for driving even after periodic leakage. You may want to check tire pressure once every 2 months or so 3) Replace all fluids before you put the car on storage. Remember engine oil, which is the most important of all fluids, once they are exposed to air, they will slowly lose its viscocity even if you DON'T drive the car. So get oil change once every 6 to 9 months 4) Get a car cover 5) Put some portable dehumidifier inside the car to prevent interior molding Just remember to drive it once, say every 2 to 3 months and turn on the aircon to make sure the system is lubricated. You can't sit the car idle forever. It needs to be driven a few times a year to keep everything running. Goodluck |
