That would take forever Besides, JDM version still uses EJ207 @joeyd If you like this one then you don't have much choice left... go get it Just keep in mind that rear parking camera is not included and depending on parts availability, you may or may not get it (see dealer for more details) |

[#4] Impreza WRX SIT 2014 YES.... 2014 STI HK version uses old engine ej257.... fa20dit had come out already, which currently implemented in new legacy model.....300ps output with maximum torque started from 2000rpm..... low fuel cost....... i won't buy this 2014 hk version sti...go for a second hand 10th generation la, half price ah... for this price range, why not golf r which come with a new engine?... |

[#5] Impreza WRX SIT 2014 @h9713325 AFAIK FA20DIT is not as robust as EJ207/257 in that it is more susceptible to engine damage due to over-revving Also direct injection means there's a lot of stress and wear inside the engine, which is not ideal for high-stress activities like tracking and super endurance race Which is probably why FHI had to detune the FA20DIT on export-spec base WRX and only offer CVT for JDM S4 (300ps spec) OTOH Golf R is a different breed, still FF-biased 4WD which is not to everyone's favour... [#13] Impreza WRX STI 2014 我估sti有機會中途轉fa20進化版engine.... 另外,港版wrx普通版downtune到268匹,應該唔關engine負荷事,只係港版sti用緊舊ej257 300匹engine,如果wrx用fa20新引擎,照樣300匹+強勁低扭,根本強過ej257,佢驚sti賣唔去遮.....日本仔就係咁自視過高,市場競爭咁大,仲玩downtune,仲要發生係部標榜性能既車款度...膠膠地... |

[#17] Impreza WRX STI 2014 @joeyd Buts M235i still costs $650k at base, still more than STI but also has less capable footwork Even if you minus just the Nav Pro option the vehicle would still be in the $700k range (yes you'll want to keep the rear camera, improved suspension, adaptive lights and trunk-thru) So STI is still a decent choice as long as fuel economy is too much of a concern @h9713325 Note that markets like AU and US have base WRX in 6MT, easy to over-rev and damage engine if tuned at full spec (295-300hp) But you just can't market different engine tunes according to transmission (300/AT, 268/MT) You want the better? Then go for STI w/305hp, no question JDM S4 and STI marketing work in JP since the former has been further tamed and marketed as some everyday sports sedan w/good fuel economy, as opposed to STI (In other words, more Levorg-like) So you get to choose either depending on your driving style and attributes, w/o much output difference between the two Want AT? -> S4 (300hp) Want MT? -> STI (308hp) 最後修改時間: 2014-08-28 12:38:18 |

BTW S4 also has electronic handbrake (a NO-NO for WRX series IMHO) as opposed to export version w/mechanical handbrake, as well as rear vented disc brake (export version only has solid cisc) Meanwhile, exclusive use of CVT is likely to protect engine from over-revving Some local auto press like it, others do NOT and think Audi's dual clutch 7AT is better and more responsive Speaking of MB, any thoughts on the GLA?
