| [#14] 爸爸俱樂部,交流湊BB心得 Can I join as a grandpa? Need some advice about my grandson just 1 yr. old. His skin color is slightly darker (more yellow) than average Chinese especially in the legs and the body (almost like Filipino). Luckily the face is better. Skin color of the parents is normal. The baby eats carrot, tomato, pumpkin (mixed with congee/soft rice) daily and also papaya. He likes these foods and other than the skin condition, he is in good health. A doctor (not a pediatrician) said the pigment of the above foods might cause the yellow color in the skin and therefore we should stop feeding him these foods. But we believe these foods are good source of vitamins and we observe they help the baby's digestion. Any advice please? Should we consult a dietician or a pediatrician? The latter had noticed the skin color condition in the first week when the baby was born and said ultra violet light (?) treatment might be required but finally he decided it was not needed. Thanks! |
