| [#4488] Leica Club JC, Without a handgrip, we use our phalanges (distal part of the digits) to grab the camera body. The more distal (further from the fulcrum) we strain our fingers, the more power is required from flexor muscles. Severe straining of flexor muscles will cause tremor (vibration). This is exacerbated by a heavy lens especially when the centre of gravity of the camera is shifted toward the front of the lens. We cannot defy physics, even with strenuous training. Besides, a telephoto lens requires a more stable hand. With a handgrip, we use the more proximal parts of our fingers to grab the camera. This puts less strain on the flexor muscles and reduces tremor. |

After all it is the society, our upbringing, cultural values, survival and commitments that shape us all. Am I being adamant? I don't know or if I did knowingly. The key of social behaviour is being considerate and coexist. Without these, isolation and lonesome is inevitable. Dialectic is a relative term, you might be more normal than your CEO in some ways! :-) |
