| [#968] 給Rolex 的朋友 Message @All, I don't have a safe to keep my watches though some have been kept in wooden boxes with glass display. They are just being kept inside the bookshelves. I have some 200+ Swatches and every single one is kept inside the original case with battery removed. As for risk of wearing it in the public being too flashy and maybe made as a target for rubbery. It could be true especially in big cities like London, Manchester and Liverpool. I don't live in London so I can't tell how dangerous and risky it may be. Petty crimes and robbery could have happened anywhere and while it was true that there was a time people wearing luxury watches eg. Rolex, PP and Omega might have been targetted and I believe it was rather opportunistic than premeditated. To be honest with you with weather in the UK there will be very few days you actually could be able to expose your wrist with a Rolex in your hand. I dream for these days a lot!! Also I don't think there is no need to think the whole Uk is filled with seriouus ctrimes especially after dark. Hong Kong is just doing extremely well in crime prevention due to good nature of HK people. The majority wouldn't know or care what you wear in your hands. They can't even tell from a Rolex than a ICE Sub!!! Ehen you show them it is a Rolex and they would just say "Oh! this is a Rolex. That's very nice." And this is it. Due to my nature of work I can't wear watches at work so there is no point wearing a Rolex. I didn leave my Bimetal Sub in the changing room a few times. | [#976] 給Rolex 的朋友 #972 我係冇得撈呀，但上過14樓幾次幫親戚維修及抹油。記憶中十幾年前去唔貴，甚至覺得好抵。早兩年攞老爸帶了好多年的鋼皇上去 check價及驚老豆以前買了老翻。結果錶係真，抹油覺得貴。最後攞去大方抹油及修理好過鉈。我知隻錶有聲，但14樓冇講。最後梁師傅 service完後行得好準。 不過新淨及諗住將來要買的話都係要去14樓。 |
