| [#6] 有無試過搵人上門洗冷氣？ Unplug the power supply first.(or flip the MCB)Make sure that the drain hole is not clogged by pouring a glass of water onto the indoor unit, observe water level drops. Use a frayed coaxial cable(viz metal wires exposed) to remove the debris in the drain hole of the pan.(usually RHS) Spray cleaning solution(blue swipe) to the front coil, use copper brush(if none, toothbrush) to remove dirt. Spray with clean water. A hand pumped sprayer should be used for convenience.(Shelley brand is the best, very air tight) Removing centrifugal fan, not the work for average people. Need to sway the whole cooling coil, decouple the motor. Some covers are simply latched ones, easily broken. Can simply spray onto the fan and collect the water.(then insert a wet towel underneath the fan blades and use hand to rotate to remove dirt) 最後修改時間: 2019-04-01 12:56:53 |

| [#11] 有無試過搵人上門洗冷氣？ Even I took out the fan for cleaning(by my wife, of course), it's hard to remove the dirt due to its fine construction. Couldn't insert a toothbrush. It might sound crazy, I bought a dozen of bearings(NT bearing co. Yuen long) to renew the fan motor bearings as well.(molded type motor but still can be opened by hammering slightly, end bells/caps would fall) |

The acid is only $80 a large bottle, pinkish color. This is the only chemical used in Industry to remove aluminium oxide/hydroxide. But, very common as used in soft drink. Years ago, many C-fu's used caustic to clean window unit. Cool for a little while and needed to be dumped. Besides, the broken parts inside the unit would be torn after re-installation.
