The exercise needs to be repeated once every few months.(disinfection only) It depends, cleaning may not be Landlord's responsibility. | [#35] 有無試過搵人上門洗冷氣？ 無高壓水槍做唔到的 This is unnecessary and overkill. The water would splash all over the place due to high pressure, so very messy. A simple hand operated pressurized pump would be OK as mentioned earlier. In fact, only coil water can remove oxidation but quite corrosive.(not simply water) Got Osim steam cleaner but not used too often, wet cleaning is much better to remove dirt. Just took down 2 room coolers for cleaning(got the chain block and canvas sling so not for average people) Aerosol spray the chassis as well especially at the fan mounting foot. German Pool 1.5 hp(similar to Chigo/CMV), little corrosion after 3 years' service, fan cowl is of plastic material. The condensate takes the direct path from the front coil to the drain hole at the back left portion, hence not routing through the whole chassis. For Gree(4 yo), 1hp, just the opposite, ferrous material(hence slight corrosion) and also longer path, storing more water.
