| [#5] 冷氣機問題 Also consider downtime and cost to repair, say $2000 for board, another $2500 for scaffolding. Would buy a new one. However, fixed speed is becoming rare except from Gree. Due to diy, I bought the cheapest R 22 one from CMV, low quality, not even a separate compartment for compressor for noise reduction. |

| [#10] 冷氣機問題 Indoor unit can be noisy,too due to high wind velocity. Panasonic is the best in the respect due to large indoor unit hence larger outlet grill. Got 2, one window split, one 420mm. Can hardly feel the fan running in medium fan mode. Make sure that the refrigeration pipe is 3-5m, less noisy since outdoor unit being further away and compressor noise not being transmitted via copper tube. So-called reducing surge in pressure is an urban legend. Gree indoor unit 1.5 hp is noisy as found in a holiday resort. |

| [#13] 冷氣機問題 A portable heater is not bad, though less energy efficient , if not often used. Can be placed nearer to oneself. But used for 2 weeks within a year and then in storage. This can be a problem. |
