Haha nice.. I am very lazy for usijg syphon haha.. Can More refreshing taste somehow..
. Very fancy looking cup... Haha, cup thickness may alter taste preception too... Haha

If the office machine is bean to cup machine, if too strong.. U may try to adjust the grind setting to les fine

Some people like Coffee Mate, thsoe cream powder..

There is actually not much to learn about drinking coffee...especially when using automatic machine.. Just enjoy it.. If u find the bean u like

Haha using mineral based water does really change the favors profile of those coffee

Wonder is there any special trick or technique for better tasting from syphon? Let's say it taste better if water more in between 96 to 98 degree C..., or the upper jug.. Keep it cool give different taste.. Etc..

For espresso drinking.. If I am 無聊 one day.. I shall get a pressure profiling machine.. I had had different machine from heat exchanger to dual boiler with pid or without PId control.. I am happy with a stable heat exchanger machine...

I also had had many different grinder etc

Even distribution to the filter.. Is quite critial

I also make my specific tamper.. With just 0.1 mm different in diameter... Haha do not cost much.. Make quite a different... Instead of having 58mm... I have one at 58.25 mm... Things may be even better for my filter.. If it is 58.32 mm.. Better matching tamper sizes to the filter.. Give noticeable and visual different.. Etc.. And much consistent outcome


I am quite sure.. For those philips hkd1500 espresso machine can make good espresso vs those hkd20k machine... But need more attention, within a specific window of taste with within the grinded sizes... Which affect pressure stability.. Etc

Taoboa has 58.35 tamper at dirt cheap price. I would try to look for one with flat top handle so that I can rest it with upside down on table top for cleaner handling.

Taobao also has a cheap distributing/spreading "knob" like thing that can be used before tampering.

Haha.. Those taobao distubtion tool is great... Haha I have 3 of them

Remember it is step 2...still need to do the step one very right.. Make sure at the bottom very even too... That tool is quite good for upper layer of consistency... Not quite ok for bottom layer haha
