| [#11] 各位金融界投資界請問 re #2, 高通脹 This is the textbook answer for the case. Textbooks, though, are mostly written 30 years ago. Only a handful are newer, but still 15 years ago. The situation from 2009 virtually prove that this is the wrong answer, or at least wrong in ( immediately ) post 2009 world. I think the correct answer here is ' INFLATION ' but not the type of inflation you have in mind. it will be, again, ASSETS INFLATION. Because 1. growth out look is uncertain 2. still very wide gap and maybe wider again between rich and poor 3. super low interest rates 4. most importantly, huge gap between saving rate and borrowing rate ( not referring to interest rates here, but referring to the intention to save and the intention to borrow ) Excess cash will chase limited amount of assets, leading to more and more expensive asstes Stocks will be higher soon ( or already so ), house price higher, unemployment higher, people poorer, social unrest worsen, pretty much like a vicious cycle again, until the poor cannot take it anymore and rebel.
